Here’s more info from the Museum’s website: The Somerville Open Studios (SOS) First Look Show, currently on view at the Museum, is a highly anticipated annual event celebrating the artistic talent and creativity of the Somerville community. Serving as a precursor to the SOS weekend, (May 4th & 5th) the First Look Exhibit at the Somerville Museum offers art enthusiasts an early opportunity to discover and appreciate the work of local artists.

Somerville Open Studios (SOS): First Look Exhibit
Friday, April 21 – Saturday, May 13, 2023*
Every year the Somerville Museum (One Westwood Road) and Somerville Open Studios (SOS) hosts the First Look Exhibit in the Museum’s gallery spaces. This show is open to all artists who are currently registered with Somerville Open Studios. The exhibition opens before SOS weekend and runs through May. It’s a great opportunity for visitors to view artists’ work and plan their open studios weekend visits. SOS homepage.
